The "Checa" bike originated from our R71 project and Grand Prix star Carlos Checa's R1, chassis modifications include the swinging arm being boxed in for extra strength and extended to improve stability, it also features the quick release rear wheel system as used by the top endurance teams, both swinging arm and frame are powder coated dark grey.

Front forks are R7 style Ohlins, while at the rear a R7 style piggyback shock is fitted. If you wish to be privileged to some really fast steering there is an option to fit Pro-Mach offset yokes as used by David Jefferies in his North West and TT winning V&M R1, the exact degree of the offset is a secret.

A QB ram air box is fitted with the Carbs set up by V&M Racing. A 21 litre QB carbon/kevlar fuel tank with twin filler is fitted along with a QB Grand Prix style fairing which features a R7 headlight and forward pointing air ducts which force air under the fuel tank, the rear of the bike features a all new Carbon/Kevlar design single seat with undertray, trick rear light and Ducati style number plate holder, a new style rear hugger which incorporates the chainguard is fitted for added protection for both chain and rear shock.

Finally we fit an Akrapovic Titanium exhaust, Pro-Mach/Ohlins Ducati-style steering damper kit and Pro-Mach multi adjustable footrest kit (all moving parts incorporate roller bearings and a choice of colours is available) Pro-Mach manufacture 50% of Superbike footrests and are probably the best in the world.
