Real road racing, challenging, dangerous,
exciting and the toughest proving ground on the
planet.
Machines and riders are tested to their limits
in varying weather conditions by the lumps, bumps,
humps and bends of public roads.
With the tragic loss of nine times TT winner and
lap record holder David Jefferies during practice
for the 2003 TT, TAS Suzuki teammate
Adrian Archibald was left to take his first
TT win in memory of DJ.
With former TAS Suzuki team member Ian Lougher
having moved to the factory Honda team on the ex
Colin
Edwards
World Superbike Championship winning SP2 and John
McGuinness on the ex WSB Monstermob Ducati there
was no shortage of competitive machinery as the
story of the 2003 TT races unfolded.
QB Carbon supported machines have enjoyed great
success in the last few years, with both the TAS
team and the V&M Racing team.
In 2000 the V&M and TAS teams used QB
Yamaha R71's with great success, recording wins
at both the Isle of Man TT and North West 200.
